Multiplication Table

Pick a number and a range (default 1–12) to instantly generate its multiplication table as a tidy grid. Perfect for studying times tables, homework practice and quick reference. Copy the whole table with one click. Everything runs in your browser.

Examples

Input · Defaults to the classic 1–12 schoolbook range.
N = 7, range 1–12
Output
7 × 1 = 7 … 7 × 12 = 84

How it works

Enter the number to multiply and the range to multiply it by. The default is 1 to 12, the usual times-table range, and you can set any start and end as long as the table stays within about 200 rows.

7 × 1 = 7
7 × 2 = 14
7 × 3 = 21
…
7 × 12 = 84

The number itself can be negative or a decimal; the range values are whole numbers, and a reversed range is put the right way round. With a decimal, an answer can show a tiny tail such as 0.30000000000000004, which comes from the way computers store decimals. Copy gives the table as plain text, one line per row.
