How it works

Your image is scaled down into eight square PNGs: 16, 32, 48, 64, 180, 192, 256 and 512 pixels. Each can be downloaded on its own, or all together.

The image is fitted inside the square without cropping, so a wide logo gets transparent bars above and below; start from a square image for the best result. Only PNG files are made, not a favicon.ico. The HTML snippet expects the files in your site’s root folder under the names they download with, such as favicon-32.png.
