How it works
Your text is drawn once on every page, centred, in bold grey type. You choose the size (32, 48 or 72 pt), the opacity (15%, 30% or 50%) and whether it runs diagonally or straight across.
The watermark is added as an ordinary text layer on top of the page. That keeps the file small and the page content untouched, but it also means someone with a PDF editor can delete it. Treat it as a label, such as DRAFT or CONFIDENTIAL, not as protection.
Text is limited to 60 characters and to Latin letters, because the standard PDF font cannot draw other scripts. Image or logo watermarks and repeated, tiled watermarks are not available.
