How it works
Each image is embedded directly into the PDF — JPGs as JPEG, PNGs as PNG — and a page is created at the image’s exact dimensions. Embedding avoids re-encoding, so your images keep their original quality.

Ordering pages before you build
Each image becomes exactly one page in the order it appears. If your images come from a scanner folder whose filenames sort alphabetically, confirm that order matches the intended document — otherwise use the reorder controls before generating. Renaming files like 01_page.jpg, 02_page.jpg out of order is the classic cause of a jumbled PDF.
Page size and very large images
A page is created at the image’s exact dimensions, which keeps quality intact but can produce unusual page sizes for very wide panoramas or very small icons. For typical scans and phone photos the result matches a standard document. JPG and PNG are embedded losslessly — a PNG stays crisp, a JPG is not re-encoded.
Scanning tips that make a cleaner PDF
Most scanner sloppiness survives into the PDF, so clean the originals before conversion: scan at 300 DPI, gray-level for documents rather than color, and trim blank margins in the scan step. Late pages turned 90° are the other classic — fix the orientation while the images are still images, because the converter faithfully preserves whatever rotation it receives.
